Lord hear our prayer
Loving Father , we come before you today with prayers for our sister Lyn and all those who knew her , loved her and are mourning her passing .
Reader :
We pray for Pope Francis , Archbishop Timothy Costelloe , Auxiliary Bishop Don Sproxton , Father Vincent Glynn , and all the church leaders . We pray that , in this Jubilee year of Hope , they will be strengthened , inspired and renewed , as they lead all people of faith towards peace , justice , and love in our world ……( Pause ) We pray to the Lord .

We pray for Lyn and give thanks for the life she lived . We acknowledge the many gifts she shared with those around her , as well as the people she touched with her joyous love . We pray that she will be held securely in God ' s tender loving embrace , now and for all eternity ……( Pause ) We pray to the Lord .

We pray for Paul , and all of Lyn ’ s family and friends . As they deal with the loss of Lyn ’ s physical presence in their lives . May God comfort them in their grief , and may they be consoled in the knowledge that Lyn will rest in peace in God ’ s heavenly kingdom ……( Pause ) We pray to the Lord .
