Christian se rend régulièrement à Madagascar durant les récoltes . L ’ approche de Laribees tient compte des traditions locales et du partage , en créant des liens forts et en instaurant une confiance mutuelle . Ici , nombreux sont les jeunes initiés à l ’ apiculture . Si les plus âgés se sont d ’ abord montrés plus sceptiques , ils se lancent finalement dans l ’ aventure .
5 à 7 % des profits de Laribees sont reversés à des œuvres sociales . Après avoir soutenu une petite école pendant deux ans , l ’ entreprise a , en 2018 , créé la Laribees Hive Foundation pour structurer les investissements sociaux et garantir une meilleure transparence . Ses projets sont ambitieux pour la région , et cette fondation est un gage de confiance pour leurs futurs partenaires .
An artisanal production in Madagascar
During the harvest , Christian regularly travels to Madagascar . He makes sure that the process tunes up with local traditions and tries to connect to people by building mutual trust . Many young people are initiated into beekeeping , while older ones , who were more sceptical at first , are now on board for the adventure .
