Prince Harry’s communications secretary, Jason Knauf, has stated, “The couple, of course, want the day to be a special, celebratory moment for their friends and family. They also want the day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations to.”
Meghan has been said to be preparing her own speech for the reception part of the evening in case her father, Thomas Markle, decides not to speak. According to the Sunday Times, the award-winning director is expected to walk his daughter down the aisle but has not confirmed whether or not he will be making a speech in front of the hundreds of senior members of the Royal Family.
One of the biggest statement during the wedding will no doubt be made by Meghan’s bridal gown. Meghan is known for her edgy style and is more risk-taking with her wardrobe choices than the Duchess ever was; therefore, we are expecting her to see in something more dramatic when it comes to her wedding dress. Rumors surrounding John Galliano, Giles Deacon, and Ralph & Russo have flared since their engagement photos were published.
We still have a lot of questions surrounding the Royal Wedding that need answers. Will Prince George and Princess Charlotte be the page boy and flower girl? Who will be the bridesmaids? Do we get those public opening extensions in the U.S. as well? We want to give our cheers to the couple as well!
