The NEW FACES of British Monarchy

The Luxe Wedding of the Year! And we're here to be your guide to the Royal Day...
It has been confirmed by Kensington Palace via Twitter that the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will take place on May 19, 2018. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to get married on a Saturday rather than a weekday goes against a long held Royal tradition as the queen herself got married on a Thursday and Prince Harry’s brother, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, did on a Friday.
Given that their wedding will take place on a Saturday rather than on a weekday makes them avoid having to make the decision whether their wedding would be a bank holiday or not. Also, to give people the chance of sharing their festivities with them, they have chosen to extend public opening hours to one o’clock in the morning.
The festivities will start early as their marriage will take place in St.George’s chapel in Windsor Castle at noon. The queen has granted permission for the events to take place at the chapel--which seats approximately 800 people. Other aspects of the wedding services, decorations, and flowers included in the reception will be paid for by the Royal Family.
Many rumors have surrounded the planning of the royal event, especially around who would perform for the newlyweds. Rumors went from Ed Sheeran and his romantic repertoire and all the way to spice talk! Talks about the Spice Girls reuniting for a royal performance have certainly been going around.
