Kisha Green

If diligence could be personified the picture perfect image would be author Kisha Green. With four novels, three anthologies, and four short stories under her belt, Green continues to persevere and give her all to her readers and fans. What’s her main goal? To provide them with quality. This is a refreshing goal at a time when Kisha so many focus on the quantity of what they put out and not the substance of their work. With the release of her debut novel, And Even If I Did, in 2006 Green embarked upon a journey to make her mark in the literary industry. Since then, there’s been no turning back and her star only continues to shine brighter with each accomplishment she adds to her resume.

Holding tight to her love for the industry, Green created and hosts the award winning talk radio show, Writer’s Life Chats. In this capacity she interviews aspiring and seasoned authors about their lives inside and outside of the industry. Giving others the platform to get their names and titles out only makes Green an even greater staple in the literary community. Given her contributions to the lit game, Luxe-Factor could not pass up the opportunity to pose our five spotlight questions to this dynamic author.

Luxe-Factor: Tell us about your most recent project / book.

Kisha Green: I am currently working on a short story entitled "Fool No More" about a young woman who is unlucky in love and just wants her happily ever after. Will she get it is the question.

L.F.: What do you believe makes you stand out as an author? What makes your projects stand out?

K.G.: I think because I've worked hard to create a brand for myself and I have loyal readers/supporters who want to know what Kisha’s up to and when is her next release.

L.F.: Aside from writing, what other projects or activities are you nurturing?

K.G.: I am co founder of a children's nonprofit organization, We Care for Kids. I am the hostess of the award winning online radio show, Writer's Life Chats, and I also do author promotions.
