The California Department of Health collects births by ZIP codes throughout California, including 95334, which is the ZIP code that the District primarily serves. Historical birth rates of this ZIP code are shown in Figure 5. As future birth rates by ZIP code are not available through the Department of Health, a three year average of historical birth rates was utilized to project future births within the ZIP code served by the District (Figure 6). If the enrollment projection were to use the same rate of projected births as the County, the District could see an additional 128 students in ten years.
