issues Singaporeans face and the countless
struggles of those who work in it . These
insights have led me to have a greater
appreciation
for
the
work
healthcare
workers do .
Working with a non-profit organisation , I have learnt a great deal about fundraising in the charity landscape in Singapore . My work at NKF has inspired in me a desire to help the less fortunate in Singapore , even in the smallest ways possible . I have also discovered a desire in myself to make a difference and I am now open to options in the healthcare sector . I also realised that I would much rather delve into work where I get to meet and interact with many different people . Hence , this experience has been one of self-discovery for me as it has allowed me to better understand myself .
I am extremely thankful to SJI for this amazing work experience programme .”
