Look up in the sky !
The experience with Ensign Infosecurity was eye opening for me . My initial thought about working in Ensign was that it would either be very technical or that we would be given administrative tasks . However , we were lucky enough to be attached to the advisory team ( consulting / sales ) which had two SJI alumni to help guide us . We were given the opportunity to work with clients together with them and to eventually present our work at an internal meeting . Furthermore , although we were attached to the advisory team , we were also able to explore the other business units that Ensign had to offer and to interact with different people from different backgrounds . Ensign ‘ s employees come from various backgrounds , however , it is evident that they have a passion for what they do and this makes the working environment one that allows for fruitful discussions . The experience has definitely made me more aware of the many different branches in the cyber world and I am now more certain of my career path .
Ensign is considered a tech start-up company . It has a very different environment from the companies that I have visited before or heard stories about . Something interesting would be the fact that the office practices hot seating which facilitates regular meetings and discussions and
