Embarking on this transformative International Education ( IE ) trip to Hong Kong was a venture into uncharted territories , a journey beyond geographical confines and into the realms of personal growth , independence , and cultural immersion .

Central to our explorations were the institutions of Salesians of Don Bosco Ng Siu Mui Secondary School and Wah Yan College , both standing as beacons of academic excellence in the heart of Hong Kong . The visit to Don Bosco Ng Siu Mui Secondary School was akin to stepping into an educational tapestry woven with the threads of history , commitment , and academic development . The school ’ s different niche areas were awe-inspiring , but it was the palpable dedication to fostering inquisitive minds that truly left an indelible mark . State-of-the-art facilities and innovative learning spaces underscored a commitment to holistic education , inviting us to engage with the Hong Kong student body in shared activities and lessons . This firsthand experience not only demystified the Hong Kong education system but also offered a glimpse into the dynamic interplay between tradition and modernity within the school ’ s academic fabric .
Our journey continued to Wah Yan College , a bastion of academic distinction that stood as a testament to the timeless pursuit of knowledge . Beyond the architectural grandeur , the visit was an immersion into the ethos of Wah Yan ’ s educational philosophy .
