Imbibing the Sports and Culture in Bangkok

On 13 November 2023 , a group of 37 Year 3 students and five teachers embarked on a 6D5N International Experience ( IE ) Trip to Bangkok , Thailand . The primary aim of this journey was to blend sports , service and culture , offering students an opportunity to engage in sports immersion and service learning , while simultaneously delving into the rich tapestry of Thai culture .

IMBIBING THE SPORTS AND CULTURE IN BANGKOK
Our Josephians , led by teachers Mr . Mohamed Irfan , Mr . Mohamad Syaifudin , Mr . Loqman Mohamad , Ms . Asmah Hanim , and Ms . Ivy Or , undertook a series of activities that left an indelible mark on both the students and the local community . The trip was not just an adventure ; it was an amalgamation of sportsmanship , service learning , cultural exploration , and personal growth .
One of the highlights of the journey was the students ’ involvement in service learning at Wat Bann Po Ta Wan Tok School . Our students organised games and activities for the children , fostering meaningful connections and leaving an enduring impact on them . In addition to their engagement with the children , they dedicated two days to painting the playground and roads , transforming the physical environment into a vibrant and welcoming space .
