In 1651 A man was born in France He ’ s destined as the one Whose journey had begun
Riches , wealth and fame He ’ d give it all away It ’ d never be the same Inspired as the change
In 1681 When all was lost and done Freedom was deprived Broke bread to stay alive He who lit the flame
For the child who had no name He built the hope for all A school stood proud and tall
Sing in his name Sing for those who came Sing for those who ’ re coming through the smiles of our school ’ s gate
We ’ ve spread hope for 300 hundred years And hundreds more Sing for this family like never done before
( chorus ) Green and White ( Green and White ) The colours we uphold Josephians , face this day As our lives un-fold
Green and White ( Green and White ) The garden where dreams roam One community where all Live in this place we call hom
In 1852 With struggles to go through A man set up this school The dream he saw come true
Our teachers and our friends All this would be none If founder De La Salle Gave up in ‘ 81
Sing in his name Sing for those who came Sing for those who ’ re coming through the smiles of our school ’ s gate
