A- Adaptability Teachers were quick to learn new skills or to tap on the skills of their fellow colleagues to cope with the changing circumstances . The ICT Department created the IT hub as a one-stop interchange for teachers to pick up new skills , such as how to use Google Meet and Zoom video-conferencing so that teachers could conduct online lessons with their students in an interactive manner . New updates were posted regularly so that teachers could pop in to pick up the relevant online tools or skills to conduct their online lessons more efficiently and effectively . As video-conferencing became the new platform to stay in touch with one another , kind
colleagues also took the opportunity to share their self-care practices , teaching one another eye relaxation exercises or home workouts to relieve stress .
E- Extra mile and an extra smile A big smile and caring voice that asks " How are you doing ?" over video-conferencing easily brightens up our students ' day . Without the physical face-to-face interaction , our teachers made the extra effort to check-in on their students through lively chats and extra coaching to ensure
that the young ones remained upbeat during the lockdown . For students who needed help , the teachers conducted remedial lessons with these students so that they are able to keep up with their learning .
