FOR THE JOSEPHIAN COMMUNITY
Josephian ' s Response in the time of COVID-19 - Our young Josephians from Year 1 & 2 encapsulated their thoughts into posters , about the coronavirus and their responses using the traits of the Josephian Profile before the onset of the pandemic .
David Ho from MN401 shared his thoughts in a comic strip on how a Josephian should respond when he heard that students in other schools have been ostracized because they have family members who have been quarantined .
Staying connected and saying " hello " - The SJI Counsellors collaborated with Keagan Goh of LE202 to design a set of unique SJI Check-in Cards for Josephians to check-in and show concern , kindness and compassion to one another in the SJI community .
@ notalonesji ( www . instagram . com / notalonesji ) This Instagram page managed by our very own students from
Year 3 and 5 , and supported by the SJI counsellors , is a platform where our Mental Health Ambassadors advocate for mental wellness . As students may be overwhelmed with news about COVID-19 or feeling unproductive at home , it is hoped that these posts will give them some advice on what they can do to occupy their time and maintain their physical and mental health .
@ sjiwanttohelp ( www . instagram . com / sjiwanttohelp ) A group of Year 5 students began to raise awareness about how the pandemic has affected the frontline staff in SJI , such as our security guards and janitors who are putting their lives at risk to maintain and upkeep our school during the CB and HBL period . This was to show gratitude to these SJI staff for the sacrifices they have made for the school and the immense amount of effort they have put in to maintain the well-being of the school , especially during this crucial COVID-19 period .
