Training was repetitive and exhausting , and sometimes it seemed pointless . However , seeing that we had friends to get through the tough times with , we were able to push on . events . Instead of relying on certain events for success , we were able to depend on the sum of efforts from the whole team .

7 with , we were able to push on .” Our Captain , Neil Bhargava ( Michael 404 ) sounded out what was in our minds .
There were two major factors in our victory : psychological and strength in numbers . The first was a strong belief throughout the team , not only in ourselves but in our teammates as well . This trust that each person would do their best in their respective events was what spurred each canoeist to do their best , for the team . On top of that , another important factor was the fact that we had the numbers . Our B Division team was made up of two batches that had won in the C Division , and this resulted in a team that was strong in all

The whole team comprises not just the canoeists , but the coach , the teachers , and the parents . Without Coach Huang Chunjian who is also a father figure to the boys , our teachers incharge who have stepped the extra mile to support the Josephians , and our parents who played a major role by providing moral support as well as sustenance to the team throughout the competition , we would not have come so far . Ultimately , we are grateful for God ’ s blessings and guidance . Ora et Labora .
