By Eliza Lim
On a quiet stretch along the Malacca straits at Pantai Kundur sits the Brothers ’ bungalow , the place where the La Salle brothers conducted their first Vocation Camp . Held in December 2015 , the camp brought together about 20 young men between 14 -17 years old from four Lasallian schools in Singapore ( St Joseph ' s Institution and St Patrick ' s School ) and Malaysia ( St Francis Institution in Malacca , and St John ' s Institution in Kuala Lumpur ). The boys came together to find out what the Lasallian mission and vocation was about .

The La Salle Brothers are represented in seven countries under the LEAD – Hong Kong , Japan , Malaysia , Myanmar , Philippines , Singapore and Thailand .

The Brothers expressed that while it was not easy to always live up to these vows , they rely on the grace of God and the Brothers community for strength . The Brothers also shared their personal vocation stories and journeys , and their lives in the Lasallian communities that they are placed to serve in .
