Ordained when he was only 29 years old in 1981 , Reverend Monsignor Ambrose Vaz gave Lumen an insight into his thoughts and outlook of life . Currently , the Vicar General ( Pastoral ) of the Singapore Archdiocesan Curia and Rector of the St Francis Xavier Major Seminary ( some of the many roles that he has undertaken ), Monsignor Ambrose took time off from catching up with friends and pottering round the garden for some exercise - activities he would indulge in during his free time
