The dissemination of the culture of light does not stop . The 19th AIDI National Congress , online The 19th AIDI National Congress was held digitally , with six webinars , because “ the dissemination of the culture of light cannot be stopped . Culture is an important antidote for tackling and overcoming this difficult time we are living through ”. These are the words of the association ’ s president Gian Paolo Roscio in his opening speech . An articulated scientific committee made up of authoritative professionals and lecturers , coming not only from the world of lighting – Susanna Antico , Laura Bellia , Alfonso Femia , Alessandro Marata , Laura Morgagni , Pietro Palladino , Alberto Pasetti , Anna Pellegrino , Alessandra Rufa , Gennaro Spada , Cino Zucchi – developed a programme aimed at investigating , with a transversal and “ system ” approach , all the topics contained in the four thematic areas of the congress : “ Urban lighting : the relationship with the city and its territory in the age of smart cities ”, “ Light , architecture and social wellbeing ”, “ The design of LED luminaires : what has changed and what can change ”, and “ New tools for lighting design and verification
