T
o work on simple shapes and present them
with the ability of those who have been
knowing how to renew themselves for over
seventy years. In 2019, in the wake of the great
sales success of the Ring collection, the affinity
between Panzeri lighting and essential geometric
lines such as circles, ellipses, squares, and their
combinations, continues. The firm’s designer,
Enzo Panzeri, has created a new family of lamps
with an extremely thin profile, which adapts
easily to any space.
The new family of suspensions is called
Zero Shapes, and it is made up of Zero Ellipse,
Zero Round (a product already known, now
also available in the wall and Vertical versions)
and Zero Square.
Acting as a guide is the circular shape of the rings,
rethought and modelled into new shapes that
can be combined together. In the lines of the
Zero Shapes family, the circle stretches to form
Zero Ellipse, tends to square in Zero Square,
and discovers the vertical perspective in Zero Round.
All the shapes are characterized by the subtle
luminous profile, the result of the search for
a design that aims to combine functionality and
emotion. The minimalism of the structure, combined
with the internal light emission, gives every
model an incredible lightness.
From the installation of the individual shape
to the suspension of several elements, there is no
limit to the configurations and the geometric
relationships that can be recreated by combining
these products. Panzeri has designed elements
that facilitate the installation of compositions
of different profiles, both for cascade and horizontal
development arrangements.
All Zero Shapes profiles are available in white,
black, and in the new titanium, bronze, and satin
brass metallic finishes.
Panzeri’s passion for circular shapes was born with
the Golden Ring suspension lamp, presented in 2015
and still today the bestseller product, winner in 2017
of the Special Mention of the German Design Award,
along with Silver Ring and Planet Ring.
