Chariot Race
Car Push
1. The chariot shall be constructed to safely carry one rider. The riders’ feet must not touch the ground during the race. The chariot will have only 2 wheels. 2. The rider must have a helmet on for safety purposes. 3. The chariot will be pulled by no more than 6 people. 4. The chariot race will begin with the chariot and all participants fully behind the starting line, and will end when the rear axle of the chariot crosses the finish line.
5. Letting go of the chariot by any of the participants before the end of the race will result in a disqualification.
1. Each organization must provide an unaltered, internationally made vehicle that drives up to the race under its own power. 2. The engine must be turned off during the race. 3. The car may be pushed by as many people as wanted, so long as all the pushers are in behind the rear axle. 4. The race will begin with the front bumper behind the starting line and none of the participants touching the vehicle before the race begins. 5. The winner will be the first vehicle to have its front bumper crosses the finish line.
Water Balloon Toss
1. Each group will have a 6 person team, which will consist of 2 throwers and 4 catchers. 2. The Judicial Committee will supply filled balloons for the event. 3. The throwers will have 1 minute and 30 seconds to throw as many of their balloons as they can over a 10-foot wall. The catchers will be on the other side of the wall. 4. The catcher’ s hands will be covered in cooking grease. 5. The catchers must catch balloons intact, and place them in the bucket. 6. Placing will be determined by the number of balloons that remain intact in the catchers bucket at the end of the event.
