a. Be the liaison between the Lawrence Technological University Sorority Council and Lawrence Technological University. b. Assist the Lawrence Technological University Sorority Council in reserving rooms / areas needed for their events. c. Expected to be at Sorority Council general, special and executive board meetings. d. Assist in judicial situations including removal of council members. e. Cannot remove a Representative without approval from other two Representatives.
ARTICLE VII. JUDICAL
Section 1 Sorority Council will only deal with inter-sorority issues. All other issues will be dealt with by All Greek Council or Student Government.
Section 2 In a judicial situation, the following actions will be taken. a) The offended party will be given five minutes to plead their case at the next sorority council general meeting. b) The offending party will receive five minutes to plead their case. c) The offended party will give a one minute rebuttal. d) The offending party will follow up with a one minute rebuttal. e) The Representatives will discuss the situation until a solution is found.
Section 3 If a solution can not be reached both parties involved will be given community service. a) Community service includes things outside of what your organization already requires / is participating in. b) Hours to be determined by Advisor if they cannot be determined by Representatives.
ARTICLE VIII. AMENDMENTS
Section 1 The Constitution may be amended by two-thirds vote of the Representatives of LTU’ s Sorority Council. Notice of the proposed amendment( s) must be given in writing and presented at a special meeting two weeks prior to a general meeting.
Section 2 Representatives cannot propose constitution amendments.
