He was born the 3. january in 1882 and died the 2. september in 1973. The most famous of his books is the lord of the rings series and the hobbit. (they are connected) out of these 4 books there has been made 6 movies.The hobbit is the story of what happens before the main plot which goes down in the lord of the rings series.
Jo Nesbø was born March 29, 1960, and is a Norwegian writer from Molde. He also plays in a band called Di Derre (roughly translated to they those, which doesnt make any sense in English, but it does in Norwegian)
