I thought straight away “His the one!!” the boss said, “Hey Patrick! Here is a new backpacker!” I had bright orange hair back then , when he looked at me he had the biggest smile full of amusement.
Then the boss left and his friend i had met arrived and said “Hey Patrick how are you?” and Patrick replied with “good mother" I was shocked that the woman i had met was also the mother to my dream man.
I tried forgetting about him as i was not sure it would work as his mother hadnt been very nice.
The owner of the roadhouse tried to get me out of it, as he was drinking a lot, and irresponsible. I said okay I’ll try the first week-end. By the second week it was to late i was definetily hooked.
He was bringing me to the roadhouse every friday and pick me up every Monday morning to go to the station 120km north from Hughenden. I started trying to get him to notice me but he was blind as a bat when it came to that.
Then one month later they had a ball in town, and I dyed my hair brown just before it. When he saw me at the ball he didn’t even recognise me. I went speak to him and he had this face like i was a total stranger.
we were working every day for the last past month and a half, I had pink hair(had them decoloured again lol) and had baggy shirt and jean covered of blood and dust all day. But at the ball i had a gorgeous black dress, stylized brown hair and make up! Then when I left he asked the daughter of our boss who I was and she told him. Anyway we kept crossing eyes all night and he got himself proper drunk he had told me that he would not have the guts to come and talk to me any other way.
One year later he asked me to marry him and I accepted. It’s going to be 4 years of love and relationship the 4th of june and 3 year of marriage the 1st of july , the funny part is I always wanted to have a boy friend called Allen, and it’s his second name. his birthday is the 15th of march mine is the 17th of march the day of the st Patrick! And his name is Patrick our first names compose of the same number of letter: 7 which happen to be the lucky number he is a monkey and I’m a dragon, those two

Today we rent a big house, we have 2 dogs, 4 chickens, one cat and 2 horses. We now are planning on kids.
