All at liberty with my horses, allowing them their deserved freedom in choice and to seek me when they will. I do not force anything upon them other than the guidelines as to what is and isn't safe if they cross that boundary themselves. I do not go to them with an agenda. I go to enter in their world as their companion and passive leader, to learn from them, to let them guide me when i am unsure and to guide them when they are unsure. To play and to be with one another. To go to a 40 acre area with 12 horses, to be accepted in the heard, to be able to influence their movements upon nothing more than my intention, to feel completely safe among them all and have individual’s seek me for quality time, is truly an amazing thing.

Though I've much still to learn myself and each day they teach me something new, I believe its the path we choose and stick to that sets us up for success or failure, we must make the decision to change. Remember we choose for our horses, so we must choose wisely.
