You may be wondering if there is a connection between flowers and Mendelian laws and retirement . There certainly is . I could imagine having a nice breakfast , and then spending several hours working with
various plants in my sunroom trying to produce all kinds of hybrids . Perhaps I could even learn the CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technique 2 and experiment with my wife ’ s favorite plants to make new colors and patterns . My retirement phobia is almost gone , thanks to the prospect of pursuing an intellectually stimulating hobby .
