Running | Walking | Sitting | Watching | Cycling | Listening With the adaptation, of the Square Tower it could become part of their daily walk rather than just passing by, almost like an information touch point as a link to the Dockyards. Portsmouth is well known for its Naval History so people will specifically visiting to explore these attractions but the position of the Square Tower has the potential for enticing people who just past by to explore what is inside as its not always available for public viewing currently. Whilst being respectful to age and history of the building, adaptations will be made to make all areas more easily accessible including the roof which is also not currently accessible by the public. The interventions made to the Square Tower will offer choice to the users, giving them the freedom to decide which aspects of the spaces they want to explore from just the roof to look out over the Solent and Portsmouth, the museum itself or the cafe as a quick ‘grab n go’. § § 7
