Thursday evening at 7 p.m. Eichmann’s Fate is the story of Eichmann’s escape to Argentina with a humanitarian passport issued by the International Red Cross. After his arrival in Buenos Aires he essentially disappeared. This is the true story of the love affair between Eichmann’s son and the daughter of a Holocaust survivor. This eventually led to Eichmann’s capture by Israelis and wafted away to the Jewish State to face trial. The story follows the daughter and her father as they pursue Eichmann relentlessly and help bring him to justice. In German and Spanish with subtitles.
Saturday evening at 7 p.m. The Other Son was announced as winner of the Long Beach Jewish Festival’s Best of Festival Award. These two young boys grew up on opposite sides of a complex conflict—one in Israel and one in Gaza. Produced by the Cohen Media Group, the film depicts each life and the interaction when the Israeli son reports for his pre-induction to the Israel Defense Forces and discovers that through blood tests he is found to have been mixed up at birth in hospital with the Palestinian son. Ultimately they must exchange lives and families. A fascinating film in Hebrew, Arabic and English with subtitles.
