Job Fair at Duy Tan University
As usual, LogiGear has been hitting university job fairs hard, with the goal of attracting the best and brightest students from top universities.
On June 1, LogiGear joined the job fair held at Duy Tan University and sponsored by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper.
She gave important information about how women can present themselves to become respected leaders on their team.
Priya explained that confidence and a support system of family and colleagues are important elements for accomplishing professional goals.
Hopefully Priya‘ s presentations will not only help empower the many female leaders LogiGear already has, but help those who seek to reach that level in the future.
More than 20 businesses from various fields ranging from restaurants, hotels, to IT, participated to recruit fresh candidates. The LogiGear booth received 70 applications at the event showing that 3 rd and 4 th year students are interested in IT internships and careers after graduating.
4 th of July English Event
LogiGear had fun at the event where we set up mini-games such as darts and IQ questions. Event coordinator, Tien Tran, was wellspoken and told funny stories.
The event attracted a large number of students and the atmosphere was lively. We even made a local celebrity – LGDN employee, Thuy Nguyen, was interviewed by journalists from the Vietnam News Agency.
Our English Department is always looking for opportunities to promote English speaking in the office. While we haven‘ t had an event to do so in quite some time, we‘ ve been aching for it to happen.
This 4 th of July, LogiGear Vietnam‘ s English department in Saigon and Da Nang will be hosting a fun event to provide a playground for us to practice our English.
Priya Gives Talk about Women and Leadership in the Workplace
To empower LogiGear‘ s female employees, LogiGear‘ s Director of Global Engineering Services, Sivapriya Ramachandran, held 2 seminars at LGSG on the topic.
The event will include lots of fun games and activities. Everyone is encouraged to come join, participate or just listen in on the fun.
Take lots of pictures and remember to share them with each other.
