Introducing
the OE
Collection
Rockin’ Renovations
Drawing inspiration from both classic rock ’n’ roll and contemporary style, Hard Rock Hotel at Universal
Orlando Resort recently made some exciting changes to its guest rooms. Combining sleek lines and chic
palates with bold, music-related graphics and pops of color, the new spaces expertly combine nods to rock
music’s roots while inserting fun and unexpected touches. Wall mirrors marked with the heights of famous
musicians allow guests to see which rock star they measure up to. Additional details include patterned headboards inspired by rock ’n’ roll fashion and etched headboard mirrors with oversized peace symbols. Guests
staying in the updated rooms will also get to experience the many musical amenities that the Hard Rock is
known for, including a selection of electric guitars that can be delivered to guest rooms upon request or a
personalized playlist.
With more than six decades of
experience in the hospitality realm,
Loews Hotels & Resorts is now
expanding into a new market. This
year marked the debut of the OE
Collection, an assemblage of luxuryoriented boutique hotels managed
by Loews.
“In conceiving and creating the
OE Collection, we were responding
to Jonathan Tisch’s call for us to
demonstrate Loews’ operational
excellence in management,”
explains Constantine Dimas, chief
business officer of the new division.
“So what we created was … a
collection of individual and unique
brands versus a branded collection.”
Each hotel that is part of the OE
Collection will maintain its own
unique identity, with consistency
found in the level of service and
luxuries delivered by Loews’ expert
operational team.
“We wanted owners of hotels and
guests of our hotels to now have two
choices,” Dimas says. “Excellence
on the Loews branded platform and
also excellence on the boutique and
lifestyle platform.”
