Guidance
Teachers!
If you are ever in need of a guidance teacher here are some things they will help you with: they look after the S1’s and help with any problems you will have; they will give guidance if you need it; and if you get in big trouble they will discipline you - we hope you don’t have to get disciplined by them!),
Mrs McNay is one of the school's Deputes and the Head of Dryfe house. As well as this she is also one of the Guidance teachers for Dryfe house; Ms Young is Dryfe's Pupil Support teacher and also their Guidance teacher. Mrs McNay said to us that it is "challenging" but also that it is worth it as it is, "fun and interesting as no 2 days are the same".
Mrs Boyle is the Pupil Support teacher for Kirtle house and also a Guidance teacher for Kirtle house. She has said that so far it’s "great fun working with the S1 pupils", but she also says it’s quite busy and very tiring. So far she has had one first year class and he said they are very nice and enthusiastic. She says that as a Guidance teacher you have to do lots like, talking to parents and sometimes even the police.
So if you are needing guidance or help with anything you know where to go know.
