Variety is the SPICE

of school life!

We have interviewed a few of the P7s from fferent schools about their first dew days at Lockerbie Academy - Induction Week! D

During interviewing these pupils we found out that PE is a very popular subject.

Yasmin Henderson said, “My week has been alright and I like having a bigger school and that a wider range of subjects. My favourite subject is PE and I hate Maths. It is easy to find our way around the school because we have S6 buddies to help us."

Connor Anderson said,“My week has been great! I like the sausage rolls at lunch time but don't like Maths much. My favourite subject is PE."

Rebecca Lamont said that her week has been

"Awesome and fun." She hates French and English but her favourite subjects are Art and Home Ec.

Grant Fraser said that his week has been "quite good" and he "likes Chemistry" His favourite subject so far is Chemistry. He said he can sometimes find his next class, but it depends where he is in the building.

Jack Muirhead said, “My week has been fun but I don’t like PE. I loved Home Ec and my new timetable. My favourite subject is English but I like most of my subjects.”

We interviewed the pupils from 1A and they were all in Computing when we interviewed them. They seemed to be having fun and they think that Lockerbie Academy is better than the primary because the school is bigger and they get a bigger variety of subjects. Caitlin Carruthers and Isla English
