Bishop Nyarko passed on at the Ridge Hospital on Saturday , May 2 , 2020 and that was the moment he came to mind again for most of us .
We make
people celebrities . We make them to be
celebrated , be it from something extraordinary they did or a viral video of no importance that became an instant hit . In as much as we would want these celebrities to leave behind a legacy to earn them a celebration , it is also our responsibility to make things a little easier on them while they ’ re alive . We choose these people to shine among us so why must we forget them so easily when they are no more in the limelight ? Instead of social media noise , why not put a system in place to support these celebrities ? There should be a system that takes care of the welfare of celebrities in need , veteran celebrities as well as the families of dead celebrities who need support . There could be some form of mausoleum dedicated to veteran celebrities or celebrities that passed away too early to keep them celebrated . We can choose to spend a lifetime criticizing and neglecting our celebrities while they are alive and have a moment of repentance when they are no more only for the cycle to begin again or , we can choose to show our appreciation for their efforts . The choice at the end of the day , is ours .
