At Italian Ministry of Agriculture are operating:
1- The VICO- Authorization control structures and corporate communication for the assessment of Certification Bodies that control the PDO- PGI- TSG food and PDO- PGI wines.
2- Evaluation Committee of Certification Bodies organic farming. 3- Evaluation Commission for beef labeling. It is composed of representatives of the Ministry and the State-Regions Conference and is responsible to provide the opinion on the authorization of the relevant Certification Bodies, examine their requirements and control plans. Meetings are attended by representatives of Certification Bodies, Consortia of producers and Regions.
