Microscopy of the Future
T
he Olympus BX43 offers an outstanding range of features and
optical performance for the clinical
market. With emphasis on the powerful
UIS2 optical system and the proven rigid,
Y-shaped frame, coupled with easy-tooperate front controls and unique colourmatched LED brightfield illumination,
it also offers improved versatility and
ergonomic operation. The microscope’s
ergonomic design can provide enhanced
operator comfort during long hours of
use, with an intuitive control layout for
fast, efficient observation and imaging.
The compact space-efficient frame of
the BX43 enables comprehensive routine
work functions with outstanding
cost performance, which makes
it an ideal and versatile
standalone microscope
for standard imaging
applications. It is also the
perfect starting point for
digital imaging, motorisation and even fluorescence.
This microscope is ready for
the laboratories of the future,
so that its users can be, too.
Complete Contamination
Control
P
recise CO2 and O2 control, elevated
RH and a choice of thermal conductivity are just some of the qualities
that sets Thermo Scientifics Forma
CO2 water jacketed incubators apart.
These incubators have been specifically
designed to minimise the risk of downtime, product loss and wasted time or
money due to airborne contamination.
The unique patented features of
these water jacketed incubators include
the Forma HEPA f iltered airf low
system that continually f ilters the
entire chamber volume every minute
to achieve class 100 air. It contains a
heated, dual pane inner door that eliminates condensation and provides faster
temperature recovery, and a removable inner door gasket that optimises
cleaning. The directed filtered airflow
ensures uniformity and quick recovery.
Both the filter and blower are removable
for easy cleaning.
The chamber interior of the water
jacketed incubators features polished
stainless steel, 100% coved corners and
184l of usable culture space. The coldrolled steel exterior cabinet with triplewall construction ensures optimum
temperature uniformity.
Forma’s Enviro-Scan™ microprocessor provides precise and accurate control
over all parameters, and the units are
available with automatic CO2 (IR or
TC) and O2 control. The units are available in single or stacked configurations
with a right-hand or left-hand door
swing. All Forma incubators are UL
Listed, CSA Certified and bear the
CE mark. In addition, the chamber
construction and integrity are covered
by a lifetime warranty. ⚛
