Essential oils in coaching “ I am convinced that nature can be a wonderful support for us and essential oils are concentrated nature , potentiated power ”, says Vincent . If something is natural , sustainable and organic , this is important for Vincent ’ s generation . Using the advantages of modernity and progress , but always literally returning to the ‘ roots ’, is not a contradiction for Generation Z .
Essential oils can promote relief and support , motivation and activation . They make a valuable , and above all , natural contribution towards creating a sense of balance . Vincent brings this knowledge of essential oils into his coaching sessions . If we tend to live too much in extremes ( higher , faster , further , striving for perfection ), oils can support us emotionally and have a balancing effect . On the way to creating a holistic lifestyle the drive to want too much too quickly can lead to good intentions being thrown away . Vincent recommends to start simply , such as drinking enough water every day . Once this has become a habit , you can build on it with meaningful next steps – such as an improved sleep rhythm . Vincent ’ s experiences have enabled him to identify and raise awareness of the growth potential in others and to define feasible , achieveable goals for his clients .
“ Mistakes are only mistakes when we allow them to be mistakes . Whoever understands them as experiences only stands to gain .”
‘ Smellsperience ’ Vincent has created a unique process that he uses with clients , where the senses are stimulated and activated through music and aroma . Known as ‘ Smellsperience ’, a combination of ‘ smell ’ and ‘ experience ’, he supports the idea of ‘ letting go ’ and concentrates on mindfulness . It ’ s a combination of music , partly played by himself on guitar or piano , and the comforting aromas of essential oils . This kind of meditation can help to bring out personal life issues that have been buried for a long time . Clients get back in touch with their needs , hidden feelings can be revealed , and it is not uncommon for emotions to move the client to tears . The process can help to make emotional levels accessible , give insights far removed from cognitive analysis and promote personal development .
Vincent concludes , “ One thing is for sure – it is worthwhile to put one ’ s experiences into perspective , to manage emotions , and to face and know oneself in the process – in order to live a life in balance . If the mindset is not appropriate or if the mind says ‘ no ’, it will be difficult to make lasting changes . After all , many things that are helpful require discipline . In order to muster this discipline , the head must first say ‘ yes ’ without reservations . Achieve clarity , act on self-motivation , get and stay in balance .”
