All About The North Coast!
Summer destinations go in and out of style quite frequently.
However, one destination has been holding on to the number
one spot for an impressive amount of time; the North Coast.
This does not come as a surprise considering its optimal
location, gorgeous weather, and the many housing and enter-
tainment options available there. To learn more about this
classic yet trendy summer destination, we spoke to Mr.
Mohamed Gamil, Broker Owner of RE/MAX The Address, and
Mr. Abdelrahman Fergany, Agent at RE/MAX Almohager
October Branch.
According to both experts, the real estate market in the North
Coast is booming. “The North Coast now has the government’s
attention. The country’s economic vision is to develop the
North Coast to be a first home destination, not just a second
home destination.” Mr. Fergany said. This isn’t just a plan, there
is some intense work going into the New Alamein City. Accord-
ing to Mr. Gamil “they established the New Alamein City and
some of its units will be delivered this year.”
With the increasing attention of the government, and with
work in the New Alamein City underway, it makes perfect sense
that new exciting developments are also in the works. “Water-
way will be constructing a new resort there, Orascom is also
working on something which I think they will do this year,
Capital Group Properties took a piece of land but I am unsure
whether they will build this year or the next,” Mr. Gamil contin-
ues, “those are the big developers, but other than that there will
be new phases in the already existing compounds.”
For the past few years, the North Coast has been in the spotlight
as Egypt’s hottest summer destination. It seems unphased even
with the rise of other popular destinations. Mr. Fergany believes
there are many reasons for this, “the weather there is perfect,
