Its new leisure development, the Hive, which opened in 2015 has added... a nine screen Cineworld and seven restaurants to the centre, including some of the nation’s favourites, Chiquitos, Nando’s and Pizza Express. The Cultural Quarter is a hub of creative and entertainment venues and home to two theatres, the Regent Theatre and the Mitchell Arts Centre. The Sugarmill and The Underground are great for live Student music every week night on and The Exchange is Mondays! home to some of the city’s best clubnights. Close to the centre you’ll find the Potteries Museum which is home to the famous Staffordshire hoard and just a short walk away is the renowned Emma Bridgewater factory where you can take a tour, shop for gifts or decorate your own piece of pottery in the popular decorating studio.
