News from the AWS

On Halloween AWS members were treated to a tour of Liverpool like no
other. We all had a brilliant but spooky time creeping around the Hope Street
area learning of its grim and haunted past. Our guides led us down to the
cemetery at the Anglican Cathedral where we all huddled together listening to
the chilling tales of days of gone by. It was a brilliant night with screams and
laughter being heard for miles! We thank Shiverpool again for their brilliant
performance and making the venture so enjoyable.

The AWS committee are busy planning events for 2014 which will be
announced on our website soon. There are big changes ahead for the AWS and
2014 promises to be our best year yet.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish our members a Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Liverpool Law Society 3rd Annual Conference for Legal
Cashiers and Managers
It was with great pleasure that I chaired the 3rd annual Legal
Cashiers and Managers Conference at the Law Society on Wednesday
6th November 2013. It was good to see the conference room full
with 60 attendees including legal cashiers, accountants, COFA’s and
solicitors . We welcomed back many attendees from last year’s
conference and previous courses and we were pleased to welcome a
large number of new faces.
