My first full day in Edinburgh began with a wonderful breakfast at the Balmoral Hotel, where I was privileged to be staying. The Balmoral was a sheer delight – such as pleasure to be pampered within it’ s beautiful interior while enjoying impeccable service. Later I was joined by my hosts, Neil Brownlee from VisitScotland, his partner Shirley White, and Robert Wright from davies tanner, who work with both VisitScotland and ILEA. We strolled around the Edinburgh Christmas Market absorbing the heartfelt Christmas cheer and soon realized we had happily roamed all over Edinburgh‘ Old Town’. I was overwhelmed by the majesty of this picturesque and historical city. Edinburgh is a grand and stately place, the architecture has fairytale-beauty and the many restaurants and bars are warm, friendly and fantastic!
