This figure was definitely achievable because participants raised a huge amount of money collectively, motivated by prizes on offer for the highest fundraisers. The ticket sales combined with value in kind donations, fundraising and sponsorship resulted in an incredible £5266.55 being raised in total. Guidance from Webber (2004) was used to work out the ‘productivity ratio’ which surpassed all expectations and was revealed as being an amazing 11:1, way above the 2014 fundraising average of 4.21:1 (Institute of Fundraising, 2015).
