Jar spells
Place any kind of salt in a jar with marjoram , cumin , thyme , star anise , the petal of a carnation flower , and a bay leaf with a protection sigil . This is a great protection spell that ’ s perfect for beginners and experts alike .

Place some dried lavender buds , rosemary , thyme , cinnamon , and black pepper into a jar to make a simple yet effective self-love spell .
Dried orange peel , chamomile , mint leaves , oak , and some cloves can work together to create an abundance and money spell . Keep in a small jar to carry with you , or leave on your altar . iFig . 1 . Hibiscus .

Altar décor
Take a trip to your local beach or craft store to pick up some seashells if it ’ s safe to do so . They can make a great decoration or offering and will instantly remind you of the summertime .

Fresh or dried flowers - or even pot pourri - can also be a brilliant decoration , especially in a pinch . Buy some fresh flowers and let them sit somewhere near your altar . Once they ’ ve started to die , dry and press them to make decorations or future spell ingredients .
Coloured candles are just one way to invoke colour magick on your altar . Reds , yellows , and oranges are the way to go , but remember that you can substitute white candles for any other colour , and use fake , colour-changing ones if necessary .
