And this, she knew This was her plan To have full devotion of my mind So that I’ ll never let go.
And soon enough, What I’ ve endured and contained inside Erupted into uncontrollable vines throughout my body That have risen from the soil above her promises. They weaved through my limbs And entangled within my organs. She let it consume me As they wrapped around my weakened heart And crushed it into tiny, precious shards. I would try to escape And repair my tampered life But these forcible vines
