Cloudy Once in a midnight sky A cloud was found by my naked eye. To spare the world the dreariness I fought against my weariness. Rising high in the night I could not find the only light. Because the speaker in this poem possesses special abilities that allow him to fly and remove the clouds that offend the peasants, he is expected to perform his duty perfectly. Unfortunately nobody is perfect and he fails as a result of the darkness. The main issue , however, is that exaggerated reaction to minor and rare failures are common in the world.
