“Well I guess it’s time for me to go then, you know this isn’t as frightening as I
thought it would be.”
“That’s the spirit, but first I got a survey for you to fill out.”
“Oh god no.”
“It’s just a couple questions, ask about the general experience, if you could die
again what would you do differently, you know the usual stuff.”
John mulled over the papers for a couple a minutes, and filled them out, annoyed
by the fact that even in death he could not escape surveys.
“There I’m done; can we go now?”
“Sure just one finale question, would you like to be reincarnated?”
“What, but I thought that was like a Buddhist thing.”
“Yeah but recently the boss has become a bit like Hollywood, he’s tired of making
new original souls, so he would rather reboot old ones.” Death stared at John
completely confused.
“Weird I thought you would jump at this opportunity; I mean I looked over your
history, ever since your older brother locked you in a morgue when you were five
you’ve been scared to die. Besides this your chance to redo life, get everything
right this time around.”
