You and I come from a different past
Yet we’re almost the same person
An alluring, yet damaged type of beautiful
I come to realize you’re not a stranger
Just because we’re reserved doesn’t make us strangers
We both bleed red
We both have a soul some claim to be beautiful
Yet I can never look at you in the eyes
You’re a complicated person with a complex past
I wonder how you were in the past
When I first saw you as a stranger
I see now an honest person
And I feel myself blush red
Looking deep into your eyes
I can see that soul so many claim to be beautiful
A beautiful soul like yours can be home to an uneasy past
Your eyes reveal nothing, making you a stranger
Like a red rose, you are a person of deep signifance and beauty
