Doro Wot in Ethiopia By Bahrua Gebremeskel Doro wot is traditional food in Ethiopia. In every holiday all Ethiopians cook Doro wot. Doro means chicken or hen and wot means spices. To cook Doro wot mix onion, oil and butter together and it‟s ready to mix with the chicken or hen. Before you mix the hen with onion, oil and butter separate it into 12 pieces. After that, watch carefully for an hour and mix with spices. Finally, serve it and the whole family eats together. Doro wot is very delicious and it is a traditional Ethiopian food.
