About Me By Yaman Sharma Poudel My name is Yaman Sharma Poudel. I am from Nepal, the beautiful Himalayan country. I am married with two kids. My first daughter is five years old and her name is Royaksha. My second daughter is one and a half years old and her name is Royana. Both of them were born in the same month, February. I used to be a school teacher in Nepal. I used to teach dance also. My husband‟s name is Roshan. He is currently working in a restaurant. He used to work for a nonprofit organization in Nepal as president of the Democratic Youth Council. My husband calls me Yamu. Yamu is my nickname. My parents are retired police officers. My father in-law and mother in-law live in Kathmandu. My father in-law is a politician in Nepal where he served as a minister for water resources. I have a brother and sister. My brother is married and he works in Dubai, UAE. I have one nephew. His name is Rohan. He is studying in grade four. My sister is single and she has been studying BBS for three years in Nepal. I miss all of them. It has been three years since I have been in the USA. I am very happy to be in the United States. This is a great country with many opportunities. I like to improve my English so that it will be easy for me to communicate with people. I am studying ESL 5 in Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School. After joining Carlos Rosario School I have improved my English. I hope I will make my English better very soon. I have many hobbies and aims. I love music, dance and visiting other countries. I like to help those children in Nepal who are suffering from poverty and violence after the war between Maoists and the government. I like to help in building a childcare center for them. I am planning to study CDA (child development associate) and computer after my ESL courses. It is my dream to work in the USA and to save money. I was so happy when I got a job in the Edward C. Mazique Parent Child Center. I am fully satisfied with this job. I am working hard. I feel so good to work with children. I hope that all my dreams will come true one day.
