FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL (August 29)
Each year, the faculty and staff look forward to greeting the students and their parents for the first day of the new school year. It is our tradition to welcome the school body back to school by sporting our new theme shirts (provided by the PTFA) and by conducting a special First Day of School Assembly. Attenders quickly learn that CCS has teachers that love to laugh and have fun. Our first day of school is also marked each year by a PTFA Breakfast for all CCS parents to attend following the assembly.

Back-to-School Nights
We hosted on Monday, August 27, our annual Back-to-School Night (B2SN) for parents and their students who are in Grades 6-12. We also hosted our B2SN for parents of students who are in our Pre-K through Grade 5 program on Tuesday, August 28. This year, we also invited elementary students and their parents to a "Drop-In" between 2:00 and 4:00 on the Monday before school started. What a fun start to a new year!
You are invited to join us at our Annual Celebration Banquet, which takes place on Saturday, August 22, at 5:00 PM in the elementary foyer. This annual school board sponsored event is central to the school's ability to communicate its mission, God's ongoing provision, the school board's vision for the future, and why it is essential that we prayerfully invite others to join us in accomplishing the large task of providing Christian education in our region.
This particular event is more than a typical fundraiser. It is an investment in the sustainable life of the school. Attenders of this event always leave encouraged with an increased commitment to the work to which God has called us. You
will learn how the school's
budget is designed each year,
how tuition is kept accessible
to as many families as
possible, and how God has
used CCS in the lives of
current students and in the
lives of CCS alumni. You won't
want to miss being there!
