Combined Easter Chapel

On the morning of April 6th, before any classes began, the K-12 grades all met up together for an Easter-themed Chapel!
The last chapel before April break was designed especially to remind us of the significance of the upcoming holiday. Gathering in the sanctuary brought Good Friday and Easter nearness closer to home, surrounded by all the banners and imagery of the cross and the message it represents: “He is risen!”
Appropriately, our time in Chapel was opened with that same message, with the students and staff alike all responding in unison, “He is risen indeed!” Joining in a unified message reminded us of our one purpose as we set our sights on the purpose of Easter, reaffirming why we are here in the first place. When we join in worshiping our living God, we share the same love and so are “one in spirit and of one mind,” just like in Philippians 2:2.
Upon its mention, many of us were looking forward to April break, whether it would entail rest and relaxation or activities and action. Nonetheless, no matter how
much we looked forward to the future, all of us were blessed to join in worship with our amazingly talented praise team! Afterward, we were blessed to hear an incredible message of captivating, convicting truth, containing both stories of real-life experiences and metaphors that illustrated the meaning of the cross in a new, vivid way.
Time in Chapel is always an uplifting, revitalizing experience, but we are invited to approach this time with a new lens during a theme Chapel like this one!
