3. Supervise your children. Students must not be permitted to play on the playground after school
without an adult accompanying them.
4. No basketball is permitted on the blacktop directly after school. The parking lot play area, including
the basketball hoops, is not available until 3:30 PM. Please do not allow your child to play on the
blacktop during this busy pick-up time, as this is a safety issue.
5. Students are responsible for following school rules while playing on campus, even when under
parental supervision.
6. Students are not permitted to play beyond the oak tree line (as the field extends toward the McLain
building and Main Street); they must never play around the McLain building.
Volunteer Driver Applications
We need parent drivers for a variety of reasons throughout the school year. It is important that every driver
complete the Approved Driver Application. This form is available on the CCS app. It would be much easier
for our teachers, coaches, and the school office if every potential parent driver completed this application
at the beginning of the school year even if you end up not serving as a driver during the year.
Growing Like Christ (GLC)
GLC is Cornerstone’s extended day program, which provides a safe, caring, and enriching environment
after the school day has ended. The program is available each school day from school dismissal until 5:30
PM. You may download a GLC Registration Form from Sycamore or the CCS app, or you may contact the
school office to have one mailed to your home.
Parents have two payment options for GLC.
Option 1: Full-Year Payment of $2,250 for unlimited use of the program ($1,750 per each additional
student)
Option 2: Daily Use Payment at the hourly rate ($10 until 3pm, $3.50 for each additional half hour or
portion of an hour)
Student Drivers
All students who will be driving themselves to school and parking a car in the school lot for the day must
apply to the school office for a parking permit. Please see the CCS app or Sycamore for the Student Driver
Application.
Busing Information for Manchester Residents
Bus transportation is provided for K-12 students (excluding Pre-K) by the Manchester Board of Education for
those students with a legal address in Manchester, but it is based on the distance of one’s address from
CCS. Parents had an opportunity to register their children for the bus during the enrollment process. An email
with information about bus stops will be sent home as soon as the town sets the schedule.
Please Note: According to the Manchester Board of Education’s Transportation Office, all Board of
Education Transportation is provided based on the student’s legal address (for Manchester residents only).
NO student not already signed up to ride the bus may ever use the bus. This means friends who are visiting
bus-riding students may not use Manchester Board of Education buses to get home from school. Students
must have a parent/guardian bring them home.
CCS Fundraising Overview
The CCS School Board commits during the budgeting process each year to raising approximately $85,000 to
help keep tuition rates accessible to as many as possible. Each CCS family is invited at the time of annual
enrollment to help with the three board-sponsored fundraisers, or a family may elect to opt out (from one,
two, or all three of these fundraisers) by making a tax-deductible donation of $200 per child instead. Those
families who have elected to “link arms together” to help with these mission-critical fundraisers will begin to
recognize the following three icons, which have been uniquely designed to enhance important
