“ It kind of spoiled me being Dale ’ s nephew because we got to see and experience a lot of special things . We went out to Denver for the National Western Stock Show every year and I have very fond memories with Dale in the National Western Club , On The Hill and In The Yards ,” Phelps remarked .

Phelps also served six years on the National Cattlemen ’ s Beef Board , representing Ohio from a two-time appointment by the USDA ’ s Secretary of Agriculture .
